Maluridae

Upon stumbling upon this enchanting piece of land, our attention was instantly captivated by the lively dance of tiny blue and brown birds, the delightful Superb Fairy Wrens, especially near the creek. Intrigued by their charm, we decided to name our soon-to-be family farm after them: Maluridae.

Maluridae is not just a farm; it's a magical ecosystem where each of us has a role in the land's restoration. In the early stages of our farming journey, we've introduced mumma cows, alpacas, chooks & our 3 greyhounds. Our surroundings are now teeming with an array of local inhabitants - platypuses in the creek, wallabies, honey eaters, rosellas, wagtails, tiger snakes, blue tongues, and our enchanting giant hare named Harry, a character straight out of Wonderland.

Our mission is to graze our cattle in a way that brings joy to the land & life to the soil, aiming to create ahabitat for all creatures, large and small. The alpacas not only provide us with fiber for cozy scarves and delightful trinkets to sell but also contribute cuddles and magical poop for our pastures & riparian zone.

We extend an invitation for others to visit, immerse yourselves in the enchantment, and learn from our journey, we have guest accommodation in the form of tiny houses as well as self sufficient camping.

Maluridae is not merely a farm; it's an ecologically focussed home where the ordinary becomes extraordinary, and every creature, from the smallest wren to the grandest alpaca, plays a role in our future farming tale.
